P1 Bridging Programme & Curriculum

In order to immerse students in English speaking environment. All English lessons are co-taught by local and NETs (native-English teachers) to enable authentic language exchange and foster lasting and meaningful connections to the language and culture.

The P1 Bridging Programme has been introduced to address both the academic and linguistic needs of new students. This dedicated 4-week programme focuses on phonological awareness and comprehension through storytelling. Students can learn English through interactive learning activities including songs, games, drama etc. Through the scaffolding created during the Bridging Programme, all students start the P1 curriculum with parity, having the necessary skills and confidence to cultivate lifelong learning and overall academic achievement.

The P1 English curriculum has been implemented to support organic language acquisition through immersion, authentic communication, and cultural interaction by focusing on building students speaking and listening skills.
